FatPhil's Sports, Games and Pastimes

Well let's put thos in a better order...

Pastimes

Maths - There's almost nothing in the world so pure and so beautiful as number theory. Prime numbers and things surrounding them are my mistresses! Bizarre ranting, however, can be found here instead.

For my sins I am a hobby coder. I write graphics demos in x86 assembly (and C) for PCs, and just for a laugh (!) I try to write code that is completely undecipherable. I muck around with other languages too.

Games

There is only one game worth playing, one which require both skill and tactics, and yet at the same time is immense fun. It's not quite the same game that you played as a child, it's more like a game of chess where it takes manual skill to move your pieces around - it can only be tiddlywinks!

Sport

I'm not built for sport, but I cycle to work almost every day, and play basketball every week. I occasionally play rounders (it often clashes with basketball, and I've definitely got my priorities the right way round). I am waiting for a game of badminton or squash, from someone who won't be embarassed by utterly thrashing me!

I do other things too, but can't be bothered to type any more this evening!
