Luca Brecel's Unnoticed Foul Against Chris Wakelin

Whilst watching the 2025 Masters, I noticed this foul:

A longer segment, showing Luca's (lack of) reaction to the foul, can be found here.

I've always loved the respect and honour with which snooker players play their noble sport. Even at the highest levels of competition, perhaps even more so there, if you think you have committed a foul, you announce it to the referee immediately, you never try to get an advantage from such things. I hope that Luca is playing along to the same script as everyone else, and genuinely didn't notice the mistake, but he was staring right down the cue when it happened - the cue would even have perturbed from its normal path as it rolled over the red. So I'm asking snooker players - would you have noticed a foul like this had it happened to you, or is this simply too subtle to have been noticed by the player?
